With ServerAvatar, You can not only host WordPress sites But other PHP scripts and projects too! The “Custom” PHP application means any PHP code you want to host on your site. It can be a Codecanyon script, a custom project developed by a freelancer or an agency, or any other PHP framework or CMS. After you create a custom PHP application by following the steps below, You can upload your PHP files inside the “public_html” directory of your custom application to execute the PHP files. If you need a database, You can create a database in ServerAvatar and use the database information to connect your PHP code with the database. So, Let’s see how to create a custom PHP application in ServerAvatar.
Step 1: Click the server on which you want to create the custom PHP application.
Step 2: Click an Applications on the left sidebar.
Step 3: Click on Create button.
Step 4: Enter your Application Name.
Step 5: Select the Primary domain as Your domain or Test domain(ServerAvatar domain).
Step 6: If you choose Your Domain in Primary Domain, Enter your Primary Domain name. And You can also add the www version of the domain.
Or if you choose Test Domain(ServerAvatar domain) in Primary Domain, Enter your unique name of Test Domain.
Step 8: If you can change the version of PHP, create a custom webroot directory in public_html, select the existing application user or new system user to create for the application, and then click on Show Advance Options.
If you create a new application user, then select Create new option.
If you select existing application user, then select any application user that exists in server.
Step 9: Before creating an application, make sure to point your domain to your IP address to get your application running on this server. Then click on Create Application and your website must be live in next 10-15 seconds. Once your application is installed, you will be redirected to an application dashboard from which you can manage the application.
