How Delete Protection Works

Once enabled, delete protection applies to the following resources:

  • Servers
  • Applications
  • Databases

When you attempt to delete any of these resources, you will be prompted to enter the exact name of the resource before the deletion can proceed.

Example: Deleting a Server

  1. Click the delete button for a server.
  2. A confirmation dialog appears with an input field.
  3. Enter the exact name of the server in the input field.
  4. The delete button remains disabled until you enter the correct name.
  5. Once the name matches, the delete button becomes enabled, allowing you to proceed with the deletion.
