Getting Started with Backup

Welcome to ServerAvatar's Backup feature! This guide will help you understand and utilize the backup features effectively.

Overview​

Server backups are essential to safeguard your data and configurations. With ServerAvatar's Backup feature, you can easily create, schedule, and manage backups for your filesystem, applications, and databases.

Instant Backup​

Instant Backup allows you to create immediate backups of your server, providing a quick way to secure your data at any moment.

Schedule Backup​

Schedule Backup enables you to set up automated backup schedules, ensuring that your data is regularly backed up without manual intervention.

Archive Backup​

The Backup archive is a list of backups that are still available in your account. When you delete an application or a site, you lose access to the Application dashboard, which allows you to manage application backups. However, if that application no longer exists, you can find the backup of that application in the Backup archive.
