Wallet

The Wallet is your central hub for managing credits in ServerAvatar. It consists of two credit types:

  • Management Credits: Account-wide balance used for Management Plans, Add-ons, and Backups.
  • Server Credits: Managed Server-specific credits for Hourly Usage and load balancing (Upcoming).

Use Wallet to add credits, monitor balances, and review transaction history.

Management Credits

What is management credit?

Management Credits are your account-wide balance used for:

  • Purchasing or renewing server management plans (e.g., Professional, Business).
  • Adding essential add-ons to your account.
  • Creating and managing server backups.

How to add management credit?

  1. Click the Wallet icon in the top header and click the ADD + button on the Management Credits card.
  2. Select a preset amount or enter a custom value.
  3. Click Checkout, then Pay Securely With Stripe.

New credits will appear instantly in your Management balance.

Server Credits

What is server credits?

Server Credits are reserved for billing individual managed server usage:

  • Hourly compute usage.

How to add server credits?

  1. Click the Wallet icon in the top header and click the ADD + button on the Server Credits card.
  2. Choose a preset amount or enter a custom amount.
  3. Click Checkout, then Pay Securely With Stripe.

Credits will be applied automatically to your servers as they accrue usage.

Redeem Credits

What is Redeem Credits?

The Redeem Credits card lets you apply free credit coupons, which are automatically added to your Management Credits balance. Only free credits coupons are supported.

How to Redeem Credits?

  1. Enter your free credit coupon code in the text field on the Redeem Credits card.
  2. Click Apply.
  3. The free credits will immediately appear in your Management Credits balance.

Minimum Credit Reminder

What is minimum credit reminder?

The Minimum Credit Reminder card helps you set a low-balance threshold so you never run out of credits unexpectedly.

How to Set?

  1. Enter the minimum credit amount you want to maintain.
  2. Click the Save button.
  3. You'll receive an email alert whenever your balance drops below this threshold.

Management Summary

Shows your overall Wallet overview and detailed transactions:

  • Transactions table: Description, Amount, Date & Time.
  • Filter by date range for history lookup.

Server Usage Summary

Gives a breakdown of server-specific billing for a selected month:

  • Month/Year Selector: Choose the period from the dropdowns to view past usage.
  • Usage Overview: Displays total monthly usage and cost for quick glance.

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens if I run out of Management Credits?
You will be unable to purchase new plans or add-ons until you add more credits.

What if my Server Credits reach zero?
Your servers will pause billing operations; top up Server Credits to resume automatic charges.

Is automatic renewal possible?
Yes—if you have sufficient Management Credits, your management plans and add-ons (e.g., Premium Hosting Care) will renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle. If you cancel a subscription, it will not renew automatically.

Can I refund unused credits?
Credit purchases are non-refundable. For special cases, contact support.

How do I view past transactions (invoices)?
Go to the Transactions table under Management Summary and use the date filter.

Is my payment secure?
Yes—payments are processed via Stripe, a PCI-compliant gateway, ensuring data security.

What if Stripe isn't supported or the payment fails?
If Stripe isn't available in your country or a Stripe payment fails, you can complete the transaction using PayPal as a fallback option.
