Update Database Root Password

The database root password refers to the password for the root user in a database system. The root user is typically the default administrator with full access and control over the database.

You can easily update the root password for your MySQL/MariaDB/MongoDB databases through the ServerAvatar panel. This guide walks you through the steps to update the root password.

Ensure that the root password is strong and secure to prevent unauthorized access.

Step 1: First, log in to the ServerAvatar Account.

Step 2: Navigate to the server you wish to configure and click on Dashboard.

Step 3: In the left-hand sidebar of the server panel, click on Settings.

Step 4: Locate the Update Database Root Password section.

Step 5: Enter the New Password, Confirm Password and click on Update button.

Once updated, the new root password will take effect immediately, allowing you to use it to access your database.
